Who Can Join VOP?
VOP is open to University of Florida students who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans. No military background or prior volunteer experience is required.
Membership Standards.
Being a VOP member means actively contributing to our organization and the veterans we serve. Members are expected to remain involved throughout the semester through meetings, service, and VOP's signature events.
Members are expected to attend scheduled General Body Meetings throughout the semester unless they have an excused absence.
Participation in VOP's major semester events, including our Walk, Run, & Roll 5K and Patriots & Pickleball Tournament, is expected of active members.
Members are encouraged to participate in volunteer opportunities, community outreach, fundraising initiatives, and partner programs throughout the semester.
VOP is built around meaningful participation. Members are expected to stay engaged, communicate when they cannot attend, and contribute to our mission throughout the semester.
