From signature fundraising events to community partnerships, VOP has grown from a student-led initiative into a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization supporting veterans throughout Gainesville and the surrounding community.
Build Through Community Support
Since VOP's founding, we have raised more than $10,000 in support of our mission, including over $5,000 in the past year from our two signature events alone.
Walk, Run, and Roll 5K
Our signature 5K has brought together nearly 200 runners at each event, connecting students, veterans, families, and members of the Gainesville community through service and fundraising.
Patriots and Pickleball
Our most recent pickleball tournament brought together roughly 40 teams, making it one of VOP's largest community fundraising events and helping generate support for our veteran-focused programs.
